Day Three

Yesterday was one of those crazy days where I was awakened at 2 am by a crying baby with what I could only imagine was an ear ache. He was so miserable, didn't know what he wanted and just cried and cried.  He didn't go back to sleep the rest of the night. He would calm down for periods of time and watch cartoons, but if I moved even a little, he would start back to crying.  It made for a very long day!

But even as hard as it was, I kind of cherished it.  Does that make me crazy?  Noah is my last and he is my 6th baby.  It really doesn't seem that long ago that  my oldest was waking me up in the middle of the night and he is now 13.  Soon, he will keep me up at night for entirely different reasons.  Parenting is this perfect mix of stress, worry, love, passion, and pure, incredible joy all wrapped up together!  I wouldn't trade a single second of it!
